Speaker: Hằng Đinh
Date:25 May 2019
Time: 10.30am – 12pm
Language: Vietnamese only
Having one of today’s most desirable jobs, travel bloggers frequently relish journeys that many envy, collecting invaluable experiences, earning a decent income by becoming an ‘ambassador’ of brands while also gaining a massive audience base teeming with adoration. However, is this ‘career’ as effortless and simple as commonly thought? What lies beneath the glamor and luxury displayed on the social media channels of travel bloggers? How to stay inspired while being constantly on the move? Come find out at our ‘Creative Sessions’ #13 with Hằng Đinh, a travel blogger known for her unconventional style of writing, author of two travel books “Hành trình nước Mỹ: Quá trẻ để chết” (published in 2015) and “Chân đi không mỏi – Hành trình Đông Nam Á” (published in 2016). In this session, Hằng Đinh will also share what it’d take to be a successful travel blogger, and how to stay true to one’s self without selling out.
What is ‘Creative Sessions’?
‘Creative Sessions’ is about sharing the inspiration behind creative thinking in Vietnam. Whether you are an artist, architect, chef, fashion designer, illustrator, musician, scientist or writer, these ‘sessions’ seek to demonstrate how creativity can be about allowing our minds to open up, that it may be as much about learning a discipline as it is about taking wonder in the everyday present moment
