The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre is a business that operates as a ‘social enterprise’, whereby all profit from sale of art and the hiring of our ‘community’ spaces, goes towards the sustainability of our Arts Centre and its curated programs, at home and abroad. As a unique arts initiative in Vietnam employing dedicated curatorial expertise (in addition to being the first purpose-built space for contemporary art in the country), it is critical that our community are made aware of the exciting role they can play as supporters of art and culture in Vietnam.

The exhibitions and public programs of The Factory attempt to cater to all levels of interest in the Arts in our community. Our VIP programs specifically target existing and hopeful supporters, such as collectors, sponsors and strategic partners. At The Factory, ‘support’ is not only considered in terms of financial backing, but also collaborative partnerships of mutual benefit (which could entail the creation of particular programs of educational, promotional and entrepreneurial alliance, such as our ‘Pollination’ and ‘Realigning the Cosmos’ programs).

Since we opened in 2016, The Factory has initiated a range of VIP events, such as ‘The Glass Box’ exhibition program – curated displays of modern and contemporary Vietnamese art; private tours of our exhibitions and exclusive dinner parties in HCMC, hosted by regional Art Fair.

In 2020, The Factory is proud to have program sponsorship from the Prince Claus Fund (The Netherlands); Goethe Institut (Germany); Australia Council for the Arts (Australia); SAM Art and Ecology Fund (Indonesia); MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum (Thailand); educational partnerships with Fulbright University (Vietnam); Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, HCMC; and promotional partnership with TOONG.

Previous partners of our programs include: Indochina Arts Partnership (USA); ILHAM Foundation (Malaysia); Sàn Art (Vietnam); Saigon Art Book (Vietnam); Inlen (Vietnam); Le Meridien, Saigon; Centdegres (Vietnam); French Institute (Vietnam); Canon (Vietnam); Lê Bảo Minh (Vietnam); Galerie Quynh (Vietnam); VIN Gallery (Vietnam); RMIT (Vietnam).

We thank all our collectors, sponsors and strategic partners, your valuing of our work, by contributing to our activities as arts workers and artists, is greatly needed in Vietnam – a country with an incredible creative community underutilized as critical agents of innovation!
