b.1993, Hanoi, living and working in Ho Chi Minh City.

She constantly expands the scope of her practice and experiments with various media including photography, video, text, installation and performance. Thuy Tien’s multimedia body of work evolves around the deepest and most vulnerable parts of her self, psyche, body and existence; and deals with the struggles and complexities she faces on her journey through life. Her selected group exhibitions include Move Arts Japan at Art Chiyoda, Japan (2016); Practicing Habits of the Day at Institute of Contemporary Arts, Singapore (2016); From. To. at Hanoi Creative City, Vietnam (2015); Seoul Media City Biennale 2014: Section 5: Documentary Lab, Korea (2014). In addition, she participated in residencies such as Mutual Unknown, CuratorsLab, Indonesia (2017); Move Arts Japan, Japan (2016); San Art Laboratory, Vietnam (2015).
