Born in Hue and graduated with a BA in Interior Design at Hue Fine Art University in 2012, Lê Phi Long then participated in several residency programs by eNAME Art Center (Hanoi), Sàn Art Laboratory (Hồ Chí Minh City) and Bamboo Curtain Studio (Taiwan). Phi Long’s practice includes painting, site-specific installation, set design, photography and conceptual objects. His art is inspired by his research into the historical and geographical origins of human; and the effects of cultural shifts and collective pressures on the formation of a generation. Phi Long is currently living between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat.
