Growing up in Paris, Morgan Ommer is an independent film-maker and photographer. His father was born in Germany; his mother came from Hai Phong. Morgan studied and began his career as a photographer in Hong Kong, mainly focusing on fashion and film set photography. Moving to Vietnam since the 90s and spent a substantial amount of time travelling, Morgan has a special concern for the movements of both the local society and its residents. He is currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides personal projects, he also collaborates with publications such as Travel+Leisure, Time, Monocle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and some other local magazines.
