In March, our Pollination 2020 curators met up in Bandung, Indonesia to meet with host Selasar Sunaryo Art Space and advisor, Agung Jennong, in addition to undertaking studio visits and generally getting to know the city and sites. First stage of their proposal is in motion – taking into account the limitations of travel and necessity for social distancing at this unprecedented time of global ‘viral’ symptoms – recognizing the need to think clearly, with responsible consideration, of people and schedule. Pollination 2020 still promises to be a responsive undertaking and we are very much excited by the ideas that are taking shape around concepts of ecology and border-lessness. Stay tuned!
