Has been found from the 2nd century (B.C), “reverse glass painting” art had developed and widely adored by Egyptian in the ancient time.

Coincidently, Tuan Khoi started learning about “The Art of Glass painting” for almost 2 years. By researching, applying and practising in a frequent volume, Tuan Khoi found out his interest in this type of Art and soon fell in love with it.

“Glass Painting Art” so far is still a new subject to the Vietnamese common community. Due to that, from the very beginning days, Tuan Khoi met a variety of challenges as well as struggling in finding documents and offshore reference resources.

In this Workshop, you will have an opportunity in order to experience the art of painting on glasses which utilizing  “IKEA Candle holder”. Each art work will express different stories that contain meaningful messages. Due to that, people can easily get into a world of four dimensional illustration in which they are all created it themselves, especially in such Christmas occasion when family members gathering around and sharing with each other.

The beauty of glass painting art illustrated through the smooth way of expression with ink technique as well as its elegant aspects. Thanks to the art on glasses, viewers come up with lots of significant emotions that no word can describe. Meanwhile, they also have a chance to approach and drop into the shimmering, magical of the dark when lights out and candles are lit. It is not only delivering the objects’ charm but also contributing to an insight that artists deeply desire to convey the viewers.

Tuan Khoi was born in Khanh Hoa – a province located in the middle of Vietnam. He has joined a major in Fine Arts at the College of Applied Arts Culture Nha Trang, then continued his studied path with Graphic Design at Hoa Sen University HCMC.

After the past accident that costs him 5-month wages during a time Tuan Khoi was working at a real estate enterprise, he had decided to quit the job at the time in order to focus on his preferred field of art and his passion: Glass Painting.
