Phan Anh

b. 1990, HCMC. Phan Anh is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saigon. He graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts University and received his MFA from Utrecht School of the Arts (The Netherlands). His works use personal and collective memories to explore both mental and physical possibilities of human beings in correlation with beliefs in abstract concepts. For him, art making has always been an honest effort to make sense of himself as an individual who plays an unpredictable part in (both objective and subjective) social, psychological and spiritual phenomena.
