Nguyễn Chung graduated from the Vietnam Dance College in 2009, and performed with the Arabesque Dance Company for five years. In 2013, he won the ‘Korea Association Dance Award’ at the Korean International Modern Dance Competition. After that Chung moved to Singapore to join T.H.E Dance Company, performing locally and touring to South Korea, Malaysia, India and China. In 2016, he went to Switzerland for further studies, and received a Scholarship from the Cinevox Junior Company directed by Malou Fenaroli Leclerc. During his time with Cinevox Junior he worked with choreographers such as Franz Brodmann, Olaf Schmidt, Ihsan Rustem, and Felix Dumeril. In June 2017, Chung was chosen to perform in the Open Stage of M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival in Singapore with his solo work ‘A Trip Of’. He has also performed in several experimental dance productions; most noteworthy are ‘Erasable’ (choreographed by Ngô Thanh Phương) and ‘Sleepwalkers’ (in collaboration with colleague Đào Thuỵ Thuý Vân).
