Time: 7 – 9pm

The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre is pleased to host the launch of the album “Nhìn Lại/ Looking Back” of artist Ngô Hồng Quang, in collaboration with writer Phan Lê Hà, a poet.

“Nhìn Lại/Looking Back” is the result of a fortuitous and spontaneous collaboration between Ngô Hồng Quang and Phan Lê Hà; an unplanned discovery of the affinity between contemporary poetry and Vietnamese folk music. The album is a collection of multi-directional, multi-coloured, and multidimensional contemplations about time, place and space. It carries complex emotions along the constant flow of musico-poetic interactions. For Northern Vietnamese folk music lovers, “ Nhìn Lại/ Looking  Back” will be a new breeze filled with priceless messages which the artist wants to deliver to the audiences; and for those new to this kind of music, it will be an interesting exploration.

At this album launching, Ngô Hồng Quang and Phan Lê Hà will share with the audience the story of their collaboration and their journey of composing together, when the creative passion of two artists was released, when two soulmates met –  two individuals sharing a passion for the arts, and aesthetics. The combination of these precious materials ignited Ngô Hồng Quang to have diverse creative thoughts that express his affection for enduring traditional values, the complex pace of contemporary society, and positive views towards the future. This is also an opportunity for fans to join the conversation and own the CD with the artists’ signatures.

Due to space limitation and to ensure the event’s quality, we only accept 60 participants. Please register here to secure your seats.
