Lê Thừa Tiến graduated from the Hue University - College of Arts in 1988; undertook his postgraduate education at the Rijks Academy (The Netherlands, 1995-1996); and received his MFA from the UNSW Art & Design (Australia) in 2009. His works balance sensibility and criticality, deeply engaging with both visual and conceptual aspects of art making, and experimenting with a wide range of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation and community-based art projects. His works have been exhibited frequently in Vietnam, United States, Thailand, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Venezuela, Japan and Australia.
