Phương Nguyễn graduated in Graphic Arts, Vietnam Fine Arts University. He first approached photography three years ago as an artistic language to express his ideas and thinking about the environment and the relationship between humans-religion-politics and nature, believing the world we live in has been identified as a new geological epoch defined by human impact. Phương Nguyễn manipulates natural elements such as water, air, time to produce his artworks. The artist challenges human’s assumption of mastery over nature, begging a revision of the interconnectedness between animate and inanimate life.
