Nguyễn Hải Đăng

Graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts University (Department of Lacquer painting), Nguyễn Hải Đăng is currently an artist working and living in HCMC. Predominantly working with oil and lacquer painting, he is interested in exploring the domestic spaces and relationships between his family members. Selected exhibitions include: ‘All animals are equal’, group exhibition, A. Farm, HCMC (2018); ‘Crack in time’, group exhibition, Go Fish Studio, Hội An (2018). In 2017, Đăng participated in a cultural exchange program at University of the Arts, Tokyo (Japan), where he presented for the first time his proposal on what turned out to be a five-year artistic project about his grandparents and family.
