A Vietnamese-Canadian Creative Producer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Linh Phan was a partner at Fact and Fiction Films, a media production house in Vietnam that focused on content creation of art, culture, music and community engagement projects. She is the co-winner of two International Public Engagement grants from the Wellcome Trust, UK; and for the past 4 years, she has been collaborating with The Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, Vietnam (OUCRU-VN) on various public engagement projects utiilising digital media, helping marginalised communities create films about their lives and health issues such as HIV, Zoonotic Diseases, Dengue and Malaria. Linh was also the Marketing Manager at Thaole Entertainment, running online and offline marketing campaign for the international television channels: Asian Food Channel, Outdoor Channel, DIVA Channel, History Channel and Da Vinci Learning Channel; and has worked with various top brand clients such as HSBC, WWF, Puma, Close Up, Vinaphone, etc. As an avid supporter of the creative community, Linh Phan frequently collaborates with other promoters and artists. She has played a pivotal role in the development the Saigon underground music scene, bringing in top international DJs such as Bottin, Rodion, Trus’Me, and Voodoo Frank. As a DJ and music event organizer, her parties are featured in the Lonely Planet Guide Vietnam and Southeast Asia as one of the “hippest club nights in Ho Chi Minh City”.
