Lê Thiên Bảo
Ho Chi Minh City
With an uncommon background and experience from working in communications for an European multi-national group, Lê Thiên Bảo has started her curator career with a great passion, the ability to explore and learn. After spending some years contacting and expanding her network with the diverse generations of local artists, she developed her own artistic approach, focusing her attention on the role of the artist as well as the investment in art in today’s society. Since April 2016, she became curatorial assistant at The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre. In the past two years, she has been actively involved in arts projects, as well as organized many public programs to raise community awareness about contemporary art. Some of her typical curatorial projects include: ‘The Prolonged Interventions’ (2016) – education project by Lê Phi Long, The Factory, Ho Chi Minh City; ‘Chain’ (2017) – solo exhibition by Lê Hoàng Bích Phượng, The Factory, Ho Chi Minh City; co-curator of ‘I, Me, Mine’ (2017) with Saigon Artbook 7 – group exhibition of 5 artists, The Factory, Ho Chi Minh City.
