Khatijah Rahmat
Khatijah (Kat) Rahmat is a Malaysian artist, writer and researcher. She has a degree in Philosophy and Politics from Edinburgh University (2007), a Postbaccalaureate in Fine Art (Drawing and Painting) from Tufts University (2015) and an MFA from The Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University (2018).
She has exhibited at the National Visual Arts Gallery, Kuala Lumpur (2015), published in Pusaka’s Naratif (2016) and was a participating curator at the Ilham Contemporary Forum (2017).
Before dedicating her life completely to art and research, Kat was an award-winning brand strategist for close to a decade. Her time is now spent on art, writing and researching human-animal studies and environmental history.
