Jenni Trang Lê

Jenni Trang Lê is a film producer currently working and living in Saigon, Vietnam. Born in Houston, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) in 2003, Jenni discovered her passion in film during her university years. After doing a few independent film projects in the US, her debut in Vietnam was as First Assistant Director (AD) in Charlie Nguyen’s classic martial arts film, ‘Dòng Máu Anh Hùng’ (‘The Rebel’), shot and produced in Vietnam in 2005. After that first project Jenni moved to Vietnam and has produced many well known features such as ‘Tèo Em’ (‘Little Teo’, 2013), ‘Để Mai Tính 2’ (‘Fool for Love 2’, 2014), amongst many more. She recently wrapped a Netflix feature production entitled ‘Da 5 Bloods’ directed by Spike Lee, where her years of Vietnam experience put her in the position of Vietnam consultant and dialogue coach/translator.
In 2019 Jenni co-founded EAST Films, a transpacific media company whose mission is to empower visionary storytellers to excel in the global entertainment market through engaging and thought-provoking content.
Jenni is now Head of Production at POPS Worldwide, the leading digital entertainment company in Southeast Asia, with over 212 million subscribers.
