Tricia Nguyễn left Vietnam at the age of 9 to study at a boarding school in Lancashire, England. She then attended Huddersfield University to study Fashion and Textile Design before coming back to Vietnam and settling down her career here. After working in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh in the fashion industry for over 2 years, she decided to start The Open House in 2014, where she represents artist Nguyễn Thanh Bình, who is also her father, and manages his private collection. At the same time, she attended the Ho Chi Minh School of Dance, where she graduated excellent in her year. Since then, Tricia has been working as an apprentice with the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra & Opera. Subsequently at the end of 2016, she went on to work with Hanoi Contemporary Dance Group, performing at The Factory in 2016 with the show ‘Dependence.
